There are 6 commercial ports that reach an average of 28,5 million tons of animated commodity.
The realization of a new “deep water port” is foreseen to Enfidha, overlooking the industrial Zone, that can welcome ships container of big dimensions.
The maritime connections are guaranteed with Genoa, Naples, Cagliari, Taranto, GioiaTauro, Livorno, Marsiglia, Valencia, Istambul, Barcellona, Cyprus etc.
The road network is of 19.000 Kms. and of 193 Kms. of highways, these last in strong expansion for around 170 kms. in construction.
The Industrial Zone of Enfidha has own motorway exit-gate (gone out of Enfidha) along the highway A1 Tunisi–Sousse to around 100 kms. from the capital.
The railway network is constituted by 2260 kms. and it covers the whole national territory. The railroads assure an annual transport of around 12 million ton. of commodity and 36 million passengers.
The station of Enfidha, will be modernized soon in the context amplest development that will have the zone for the important new infrastructures created by the Tunisian government: the international airport and the new deep waters port.
Telecommunications, Energy and Gas, are by now to European standard and in strong expansion, really thanks also to the meaningful investments that the country has known how to attract.
